Enterprise-grade infrastructure for UK businesses

We Only Manage Ten New Partnerships a Year. Are You One?

Most business websites are under-protected, under-maintained, and underperforming, built by agencies who disappear the moment the invoice clears. Opyx Digital builds and manages enterprise-grade digital infrastructure for businesses that can't afford to get it wrong.

The reality for most UK businesses

You paid for a website.
What you got was a liability.

Shared servers that go down without warning. Emails that land in spam because DNS was never set up correctly. A ‘support team’ that is actually a ticket system with a five-day response time. No backups. No monitoring. No one who actually picks up the phone.

This is not a niche problem. It is the standard experience for thousands of UK businesses who trusted an agency with their digital presence, and were let down.

No real security

Shared hosting means you are one compromised neighbour away from your site being blacklisted by Google. Most SME websites have no enterprise-grade firewall, no threat monitoring, and no DDoS protection.

No one to call

When your site goes down at 9am on a Monday, the last thing you need is a ticket number. You need a person who knows your site, knows your business, and can fix it now.

Built to launch, not to grow

Most agencies build a site and hand you the keys. No optimisation, no ongoing strategy. A website that does not evolve is not a business asset — it is a cost that quietly erodes your credibility.

RIGHT NOW, WHILE YOU ARE READING THIS

43% of UK businesses were hit by a cyber attack last year. Most of them thought they were safe.

This is not a statistic about banks, or government agencies, or large technology companies. These are law firms, healthcare practices, financial advisers, and property agencies; businesses like yours, running websites on standard shared hosting, trusting that their web agency set things up correctly.

They had not.

13,000 WordPress sites are compromised every single day. That is nine every minute, around the clock, seven days a week. Bots scan the internet continuously, probing for unpatched plugins, weak login pages, and misconfigured hosting environments. Vulnerabilities in WordPress increased by 34% in 2024 alone.

“Your site is not too small to target. Automated attacks do not discriminate. They look for what is exploitable, and an unprotected site on shared hosting is an open door.”

The businesses we work with are not naive. They are intelligent operators who simply did not know what they did not know. Their hosting provider had no obligation to tell them they were exposed. Their web agency had long since moved on. And the attack, when it came, was not personal. It was automated. It was efficient. And it was expensive.

The question is not whether your website is being probed right now. It is!
The question is whether anything is stopping what those probes find from becoming a breach.

THE SOLUTION EXISTS. BUT IT NEEDS TO BE IN THE RIGHT HANDS.

Cloudflare protects 20% of the entire internet. The banks use it. Governments use it. Here is what most people do not know.

Cloudflare operates across 330 cities in 120 countries. Every piece of malicious traffic detected on any one of those properties — a phishing campaign targeting a major bank, a DDoS attempt on a government agency, a credential-stuffing attack on an airline — feeds a global threat intelligence database. In real time.

Every site on Cloudflare’s network benefits from that shared intelligence instantly. When a new attack pattern is identified anywhere in the world, every protected site is updated automatically. This is why the world’s most security-conscious organisations use it, and why all Opyx clients are behind it as standard.

But here is where most people get this wrong.

Buying Cloudflare is not the same as being protected by it.

Cloudflare is extraordinarily powerful. It is also extraordinarily complex. Out of the box, it provides a useful baseline. But a properly secured deployment is a different thing entirely, and the gap between the two is where breaches happen.

What expert Cloudflare implementation actually means:

“A misconfigured Cloudflare creates a false sense of security. Your dashboard shows green. The real vulnerabilities in your plugin stack, your login page, your contact forms — remain exposed. This is not a product problem. It is a management problem.”

This is also precisely why Opyx exists. We do not sell Cloudflare. We implement it properly, configure it for your specific site, monitor it continuously, and adapt it as threats change. That is not a product you can purchase. It is a service delivered by professionals who know what they are doing.

How OPYX Works

We do not just build websites. We build digital infrastructure that runs like it should.

Every Opyx client gets the same foundation: enterprise-grade security through Cloudflare, the global network that protects major banks, airlines, and government platforms, combined with a dedicated hosting environment, a dedicated IP address, and professional email through Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.

Not a template. Not a resold hosting plan. Not a chatbot in place of a support team. A properly engineered digital presence, maintained, monitored, and optimised monthly, with a direct contact who knows your business and responds the same day.

We take on a limited number of new clients each quarter. That is intentional. It is how we guarantee the standard of service that businesses at this level deserve.

How Opyx fixes what agencies consistently get wrong

Three things most agencies get wrong.
Three things we get right.

The Problem

Your website is one attack away from disappearing from the internet.

Bots, scrapers, credential stuffers, and malicious traffic hit unprotected sites around the clock. Shared hosting provides no meaningful defence. If the site next to yours on a shared server gets compromised, you are at risk too. Most SME websites have no WAF, no DDoS mitigation, and no threat intelligence.

✓ The Opyx Solution

Security — Cloudflare WAF + DDoS Protection

Every Opyx site sits behind Cloudflare’s global security network. A Web Application Firewall filters malicious traffic before it ever reaches your site. DDoS mitigation handles attacks that would take a standard hosting environment offline in minutes. Threat intelligence running continuously. You do not need to think about it. We already have.

The Problem

Getting help from your current agency feels like raising a ticket into a void.

You send an email. You receive an automated response with a ticket number and a 3-5 working day response estimate. Three days later you receive a reply asking for more information. Meanwhile your site is still broken and your prospects are landing on an error page.

✓ The Opyx Solution

Support — Direct Human, Same Day

Every Opyx client has a direct contact — a real person who knows your site, knows your business, and responds the same day. We do not outsource support. We do not use a ticketing system as the front line. When something needs fixing, it gets fixed. Not next week. Today.

The Problem

Your website exists. But it is not generating business.

A static website is not a digital asset — it is a digital business card. If it is not being actively optimised, updated, and developed as a business tool, the gap between what it could be doing and what it is doing gets wider every month.

✓ The Opyx Solution

Performance — Built to Convert & Grow

Opyx clients receive ongoing performance monitoring, conversion-focused updates, and — at our higher tiers — Google Ads management and technical SEO. We are invested in your growth because our model only works if yours is working. Retained clients are the Opyx model.

Not for everyone — by design

Opyx is not for everyone. It might be exactly right for you.

We work with established businesses and ambitious operators who understand that their digital presence is a business-critical asset, not a cost to be minimised. Our clients are professional services firms, healthcare providers, financial services businesses, and companies in specialist industries where credibility, security, and reliability are non-negotiable.

If you are looking for the cheapest option available, we are not it, and we would not serve you well. If you are looking for the best option for a business that takes its reputation seriously, we should talk.

WHAT CHANGES

What life looks like when your digital infrastructure actually works.

No more wondering why your site was slow this morning. No more checking whether your emails are landing in spam. No more discovering, on a Monday morning, three days after the fact, that your site has been down since Friday and you have no idea why.

When infrastructure is engineered and managed properly, it becomes invisible. Your site loads in under two seconds, from anywhere in the world, for anyone who visits. Security threats are assessed before they ever reach your server. Your email is configured correctly, reliably delivered, and will not land in a client’s junk folder on the day it matters most.

Your Google presence improves because load speed, uptime, and technical configuration are among the signals that determine where you rank. Your client experience improves because your site reflects the standard of the business behind it. And when something does need attention, a plugin update, a content change, a security advisory, it is handled. You are not chasing anyone.

“What you gain is not just a better website. It is the freedom to focus on running your business, knowing that the foundation it sits on is solid, monitored, and in the hands of people who actually pick up the phone.”

About us

We built systems where failure is not an option. We apply the same standard to your business.

Opyx was founded by professionals who have spent careers in environments where the infrastructure has to work, every time, without exception. Systems are designed to a standard where failure is not an acceptable outcome. Every scenario is planned for. Every alert is monitored. Every decision is documented and auditable.

We looked at the standard of web infrastructure most UK businesses were running on and recognised the same patterns we had spent careers engineering around: single points of failure, no monitoring, no documented configuration, and nobody accountable when something went wrong. Those failures can end companies.

We built Opyx to close that gap. Not for everyone. For the businesses that understand their digital presence is a serious operational asset, and who want it managed with the rigour they apply to everything else they take seriously.

We only take on ten new client partnerships each year.
That is a deliberate choice, not a capacity constraint. Ten clients means every one of them gets our full attention. It means we know your business, your team, your clients, and what your site needs before you ask. It means that when something happens at 7am on a Tuesday, the person who answers already knows who you are.

Questions & answers

The questions we get asked most.

Every question represents a genuine objection that stops qualified prospects from taking the next step. If yours is not here, the audit call is the right place to ask it.

Do I need to leave my current agency or hosting provider?

Yes. Opyx is a fully managed relationship. We take on complete responsibility for your digital infrastructure, which means migrating your site, hosting, and where relevant your email, to the Opyx stack. We handle the entire transition. Most clients find the migration process takes 2–4 weeks with no disruption to the live site.

We begin every engagement with an infrastructure audit of your existing site. In most cases, we rebuild on the Opyx stack because migrating a poorly configured legacy site is almost always more risk than a clean build. Your content, branding, and assets transfer. The infrastructure gets replaced properly.

Cloudflare is a global network that sits between the internet and your website. Every request passes through Cloudflare first, checked against threat databases, filtered for malicious traffic, and served via a global content delivery network that improves load speed worldwide. The Web Application Firewall blocks known attack patterns before they reach your hosting. Most small business websites have none of this. All Opyx sites do, as standard.

On standard shared hosting, your website shares an IP address with dozens or hundreds of other sites. If any of those are blacklisted for spam or malicious activity, your site can be caught in the same block. A dedicated IP is exclusively yours, your reputation is not tied to anyone else’s behaviour.

All plans begin with a 12-month initial term, then continue on a rolling quarterly basis. We structure it this way because the initial term is required to invest properly in the build and migration. After that, you continue quarter-by-quarter. In practice, the vast majority of our clients stay well beyond the initial term, because when infrastructure works properly, there is no reason to move.

You own everything. Your domain, your content, your design files, your data. If you decide to leave, we provide a full documented handover, code repository, hosting migration support, DNS transfer, and documentation of every configuration decision. We do not hold your assets hostage. We simply make leaving feel unnecessary.

Yes, and it is straightforward. Most clients start on Foundation and move to Growth within 6–12 months. The infrastructure stack is the same across all tiers, the upgrade is a change in scope, not a rebuild from scratch.

Your competitors have not fixed this yet. You could.

Every question below represents a genuine objection that stops qualified prospects from taking the next step. If yours is not here, the audit call is the right place to ask it.

We have two partnership slots remaining this quarter. If the timing is right, requesting an audit takes 30 seconds to get started towards a better web experience.
